One day, while scrolling through social media, I stumbled upon a quote that says, “You wouldn’t talk to your best friend the way you talk to yourself.” That hit me hard! Imagine if we treated ourselves with the same kindness and encouragement, we offer our friends.

Once you have identified that inner critic, it is time to challenge those negative thoughts. When you catch yourself thinking something unkind or limiting, ask yourself: “Is this true?” Often, you will find that these thoughts are exaggerated or unfounded.

Instead of spiralling into anxiety, pause and reframe your thoughts.

Another fantastic way to renew your mindset is by surrounding yourself with positive influences. Whether it is uplifting friends, inspiring books, or motivational podcasts, fill your life with things that encourage and uplift you.
